📋 Overview
At WhiskyTreasury, we stand behind every bottle we sell. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return unopened, undamaged bottles within 14 days of delivery for a full refund (less shipping costs).
✅ Damaged or Incorrect Items? Contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
🔄 Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- Unopened: The bottle must be unopened with the original seal intact
- Original Packaging: All original packaging, labels, and accessories must be included
- Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery date
- Proof of Purchase: Order number or receipt is required
- Condition: The bottle must be in original, resalable condition
⚠️ Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Bottles that have been opened or have broken seals
- Bottles damaged due to improper storage after delivery
- International orders (due to customs regulations - see exceptions below)
- Limited edition or collector bottles (case-by-case basis)
- Gift cards
- Final sale or clearance items
📦 How to Initiate a Return
Contact Us
Email support@whiskytreasury.com with your order number and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
Get Authorization
We will provide a Return Authorization (RA) number and return shipping instructions.
Pack & Ship
Pack the bottle securely in original packaging. Write your RA number on the outside of the box.
Receive Refund
Once we receive and inspect the return, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days.

💰 Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund as follows:
- Full Refund: For unopened, undamaged bottles within 14 days of delivery
- Partial Refund: For items returned after 14 days (up to 30 days) - 50% of item value
- No Refund: For items returned after 30 days or with broken seals
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- Return Shipping: Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or incorrect
- Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee may apply for non-defective returns
💔 Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your bottle arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, we will make it right at no cost to you.
- Time Limit: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Documentation: Please provide photos of the damaged packaging and bottle
- Resolution: Full refund or replacement including return shipping costs
- No Restocking Fee: Damaged or incorrect items are not subject to restocking fees
📸 Need to file a damage claim? Please take clear photos of:
- The outer shipping box showing any damage
- The inner packaging and bottle condition
- The bottle seal (if broken)
- The shipping label showing tracking number

🌍 International Returns
⚠️ International Return Policy
Due to customs regulations and high shipping costs, international returns are handled on a case-by-case basis:
- Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility
- Customs duties paid are non-refundable
- We recommend contacting us before shipping any international return
- For damaged or incorrect items, we may offer a partial refund instead of return shipping due to customs complexity
- Some countries prohibit alcohol returns - check your local laws
🔄 Exchanges
If you need to exchange a bottle for a different product, please follow the return process above and place a new order for the desired item. We do not offer direct exchanges. Once we receive your return and process the refund, you can use the refund amount toward your new purchase.
💳 Refund Timing
- Processing Time: 7-10 business days after we receive your return
- Credit Card Refunds: May take an additional 3-5 business days to appear on your statement
- PayPal Refunds: Immediate but may take 1-2 days to reflect in your account
- Bitcoin Refunds: Processed at current market value (may vary from purchase price)
- Bank Transfers: 5-7 business days
📝 Cancellation Policy
- Before Shipment: Full refund within 1 hour of order placement
- After 1 hour but before shipment: Refund minus $10 processing fee
- After Shipment: Must follow standard return process (cannot cancel once shipped)
- Pre-orders: Can be canceled up to 7 days before estimated shipping date
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I return a bottle I've already opened? No. Due to alcohol safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of opened bottles.
- Who pays for return shipping? The buyer is responsible unless the item arrived damaged or was incorrect.
- How long do I have to return an item? 14 days from delivery date for unopened bottles.
- What if my package was stolen after delivery? We are not responsible for packages stolen after delivery confirmation. Please ensure you ship to a secure address.
- Can I return a gift? Yes. The refund will be issued to the original purchaser's payment method.
- What about limited edition bottles? Returns for limited edition or rare collector bottles are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for assistance.
