💰 Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Below are estimated starting rates:
- USA Standard: $9.99 (Free on orders over $500)
- USA Express: $19.99
- Canada: Starting at $19.99
- United Kingdom & Europe: Starting at $24.99
- Asia & Pacific: Starting at $29.99
- Other International: Starting at $39.99
🔍 Tracking Your Order
All orders receive a tracking number via email within 24 hours of shipment. You can track your package directly through our carrier partners:
- USA: FedEx or UPS
- Canada: FedEx or Canada Post
- International: DHL or local postal service
Tracking updates may take 24-48 hours to appear after shipment.
🔞 Adult Signature Required
By law, all alcohol shipments require an adult signature at delivery. This is non-negotiable and applies to ALL orders regardless of value or destination.
- USA: Person signing must be 21+ with valid government ID
- Canada, UK, Europe, Australia: Person signing must be 18+ with valid government ID
- Japan: Person signing must be 20+ with valid government ID
📋 What happens if no adult is present? The carrier will make up to 3 delivery attempts. After failed attempts, the package will be held at the nearest carrier facility for pickup. Valid ID proving legal drinking age is required for pickup. You may also redirect your package to a local pickup location through the carrier's website.
📍 Delivery Process
- Carriers will attempt delivery during business hours (9 AM - 5 PM local time)
- If no adult is available, a notice will be left with pickup instructions
- You can schedule redelivery or pickup through the carrier's website using your tracking number
- Packages not picked up within the carrier's holding period (typically 5-10 days) will be returned to WhiskyTreasury
🔁 Failed Deliveries & Returned Packages
If a package is returned to us due to multiple failed delivery attempts or refusal to sign, the following applies:
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- Return shipping fees will be deducted from any refund
- A 15% restocking fee may apply
- We will contact you to arrange reshipment (additional shipping charges apply)
🔍 Lost or Stolen Packages
Lost in Transit: If your tracking shows "delivered" but you have not received the package, please wait 48 hours as carriers sometimes mark delivered early. If still missing, contact us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date. We will file a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund.
Stolen Packages: WhiskyTreasury is not responsible for packages stolen after delivery confirmation. We recommend shipping to a secure address where an adult is available to sign. For high-value orders, consider shipping to your workplace or a carrier pickup location.
🏢 PO Box & Military Addresses
- PO Boxes: We cannot ship to PO Boxes due to adult signature requirements.
- APO/FPO/DPO: We do not currently ship to military addresses due to customs restrictions on alcohol.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or major holidays
- During holiday seasons, delivery times may be longer than estimated
- Extreme weather conditions may cause delivery delays
- International shipments may be delayed by customs inspections (see Customs & Duties page)
