WhiskyTreasury takes age verification seriously. We use a two-step verification process for every order:

Step 1: Checkout Age Declaration

During checkout, you must confirm that you are of legal drinking age in your country of residence. This is a legally binding declaration. Providing false information is a violation of our Terms of Service.

Step 2: Adult Signature at Delivery

All shipments require an adult signature at delivery. The person signing must present a valid government-issued photo ID proving they are of legal drinking age. This applies to ALL orders, regardless of value or destination.

📦 Delivery Process & Age Verification

• Carriers will check ID upon delivery before releasing the package
• If no adult is present, the carrier will leave a notice with pickup instructions
• You can reschedule delivery or pick up at the nearest carrier facility
• Valid ID proving legal drinking age is required for pickup
• Carriers will make up to 3 delivery attempts before returning the package to us

🚫 What Happens If No Adult Is Present?

If the carrier attempts delivery and no adult of legal age is available to sign:

1. The carrier will leave a delivery notice with instructions
2. You can schedule redelivery online or by phone
3. You can pick up the package at the nearest carrier facility
4. Valid ID proving legal drinking age is required for pickup
5. After 3 failed attempts, the package will be returned to WhiskyTreasury

⚠️ Consequences of Providing False Information

📞 Age Verification at Pickup Locations

If you choose to pick up your package from a carrier facility (FedEx, UPS, DHL, or local post office):

• You must present a valid government-issued photo ID
• The ID must prove you are of legal drinking age in that country
• Some carriers may require the ID to match the name on the package
• If you cannot provide valid ID, the package will not be released

🔁 Age Verification for Returned Packages

If a package is returned to us due to age verification failure (no adult available to sign), the following applies:

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable
• Return shipping fees will be deducted from any refund
• A 15% restocking fee may apply
• We can reship the order (additional shipping charges apply) with proper age verification arrangements
